It was my first visit there and it was superb. The staff didn’t rush me and seemed polite. The place seemed rather neat and tidy. Toilet, floor, chairs and table everything seemed nicely wiped and tidied. Interior lighting, ambiance and accessibility for disables seemed good. Prices were affordable and taste was delicious. Although hand soap bottle didn’t work I tried several times so I had to open the top to get the soap and that was the only thing out of order. The rest was great and I’m leaving 5 stars. I would definitely recommend this place.

Best burgers in town and best chicken and rice. Had the most wonderful time and food. The atmosphere is so nice and very quick service. All the staff was very nice. Definitely coming here again and again.
One of the best restaurant in Southampton without a doubt. Tried their burgers as well as the grilled piri piri chicken and also the chicken rice, everything was top-notch. Customer service is amazing. They go above and beyond expectations, they even made loaded cheesy fries upon request which wasn't actually in their menu. A MUST TRY place for any food lover on a budget.
Yesterday we came here after looking for a Halal place to eat with my family, we loved the food so much we came back again today 06/08/2022. Definitely come here to eat if you're in Southampton. The food, atmosphere, service....its all just 10/10. I can't fault a single thing at all. The food was fresh, moist, flavourful and just so good, I ate in a lot of piri piri places but I can honestly say this is a place you should definitely try, guaranteed you will come back the next day as I have done today. Decor is Instagram worthy yet also kid friendly. Thanks Rio for a great evening, belly full with good food and the service was received with big smiles, positive attitude and friendly manner. We got the Grillsters for the kids, Homemade Ranchos for the adults and the Piri Piri Chickens in Medium hot flavours. The flavour was marinated all throughout the chickens and burger. Also we got the Rio drinks, you should definitely try the Mango flavour as that was the best mango fizzy drink I had.
Food was so good we came back here again and again whilst our stay. We ordered a mixture of food and we tasted each others food, everything we tried was top notch, the quality of the meats even was superb. The drinks on the menu are made in-house, team are amazing, truly astonished that this hidden gem is not out there. Shame they do not have another branch in Central London. This is the only place I will visit on my next trip

As someone who's been to all the Piri-Piri places in Portswood, I can definitively say that this is the best one. My go-to is usually the extra-hot chicken rice, which is juicy and full of flavour! A lot of places really skimp out on the sauce and the rice ends up very dry, but not with these guys. The wings are also nice and juicy. Service is relatively fast and the staff is very friendly. The only negative is that their trays are quite wobbly lol...
